Religious Incentive
I hate that many local community service organizations stress the Bible and god’s will as guides to helping someone. Is it such a novel idea to want to do good for the simple desire to better someone else’s life? I don’t think so. Do these people not consider that someone who’s not Christian want to help out? It just seems kind of selfish to want to do service to help people but also to put you in good graces with the man upstairs.
My name is Brittany and I’m Agnostic (I believe I/the rest of humanity will never truly find out if there is or is not a higher power) and I like to help others without incentive.
